Position: Engineering Manager
  Leads engineering department to meet production and company objectives
  Establishing direction ¡ª developing both a mission and objectives of the future and strategies for producing the changes needed to achieve that mission and objectives that aligns with company goals
  Aligning people ¡ª communicating the mission and objectives by words and deeds to the engineering team and all those whose cooperation may be needed to achieve the mission and objectives
  Motivating and inspiring ¡ª helping engineers to focus on company vision and mission and energize themselves to overcome technical, personality, political, and resource barriers to change
  Supporting people ¡ªSupporting engineers and others and collaborating with internal and external organizations when needed to ensure achieve individual and company mission and objectives as a whole
  Identifies new opportunities to support business such as cost, quality and productivity improvement and cultivates innovation and change culture in engineering department
  Identify the materials that has possibility to do local sourcing to reduce the cost
  Identify the opportunities to improve the productivity in terms of fixture improvement, layout improvement and process improvement
  Manages subordinate engineers, improves and standardizes work process to support business
  Creates and standardizes professional and effective work system to improve working quality
  Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies
  Lead the team to build up the process and capacity model, utilization model, productivity model and shop floor layout
  Provide technical support to related department, including order review, training people, customer service, local sourcing etc.
  Creates efficient and robust organizations with growth and succession plans that can support current business and future challenges
  Oversees focus area, potential problem and critical issues and redirect engineering team on out of focus area and take action with speed before they become critical
  Develops individual engineer capabilities to maximize their contributions and value their growth, through training, coaching, mentoring, challenging, enhancing their roles and improving working environment. Reviews and follow-up the performance of subordinate engineers
  Manages engineering department to ensure department initiative implementation and support production department and company routine operation
  Reviews and follow up individual engineer and department initiatives
  Determine standard process time and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. This also includes determining process improvements by conducting time studies, etc. to improve process flow
  Reviews and follow up EH&S and OHSAS
  Controls budget, resource and cost
  Feedbacks achievements, concerns and comments to supervisor and other stakeholders and seeks supports when necessary
  Reviews SOPs and ISO 9000/14001/18001/TL9000 procedure
  Support new product introduction
  Arrange proper resource to get new product/process trained
  Leverages and manages new technology transfer and expansion professionally
  Work as a liaison between US / Mexico operations and ensure all processes are in conjunction with corresponding facility
